I'm the goose behind Nest Tested.

In real life I'm Robert, and I'm from the UK. By day I work in insurance. By night I research and review home and kitchen products. Think of me like Batman, except I sit at home, I save you from terrible product reviews instead of saving the city, and my car is considerably less cool.

I got fed up reading reviews that pad the word count, bury the answer, and recommend whatever pays the best commission. So I built something better: honest research, straight answers, no agenda.

For every product I cover, I dig into the specs, read through hundreds of real owner reviews, check how things hold up over time, and work out whether it is actually worth the money. No jargon, no waffle, just the answer.

The goose? That is my nickname, brought to life. Seemed fitting for a site that honks at the nonsense and points you toward the good stuff.
